i'm guessing they're all just tw*ts Martin, don't give it a second's thought, it's not worth it, you certainly don't have to prove yourself to them, if they don't think you are worthy enough for epi, we certainly think you are.

Thanks for your kind comment Raz ! Most appreciated ! Big Smile

Yes Kazky, those were the days...Made my first digital stuff with the Amiga, guess that machine really brought digital art to the people,..Pity that the Amiga came to such a miserable end, we could perhaps had 3 main computer-types insted of only two; Amiga, Machintosh and PC. (There are of course enthusiasts out there that claims that Amiga never can die...)

"Lady with a veil" Made with Amiga 500, DeLuxe Paint and mouse, 64 colour palette. 1994.

Today I use a PC (Should perhaps have bought a MacInthosh since old Amigans are supposed to hate PC, but the PC was cheaper...)

god i never achieved results like that! Amigan's were very articulate in hating pc's weren't they? i now have a mac, but also a pc, i'm more tolerant nowadays Smile

    Re: raimo-stuff (mild nudity !)

Sometimes the Amiga vs PC - thing started to look as a religion, I always thought it was a rather ridiculos discussion...

Honestly Martin, I never felt "hijacked" Big Smile It was a rather interresting discussion actually !

Since I brought up the subject of the "Amiga" - computers, here are some screendumps for the younger ones of you to see what we had to work with in the early 1990-ties...

This is the "Workbench" mentioned by Kazky, the operating system of the early Amigas...This was considered very advanced at the time, I never, never thought I would get the hang of it...But somehow I did.

This is "DeLuxe-paint 3" The graphics programme that came bundled with my Amiga 500...Isn´t it amazing ! We have come a long way since...But I think many of the most advanced digital artist draw their first pixels with this, so it deserves a place in history !

Well, enough of this, lets end the Amiga-nostalgia with this Regis Loisel - inspired fairy made on a Amiga 1200 sometimes around 1998:

    Re: raimo-stuff (mild nudity !)

Well, in the next 10 years we will probably have computers that gets the images straight out of our brains...People will laugh at the times when we had to scratch down our visions with pencils and Wacoms...Geeked

Martin, before I bought the Amiga I had a computer named "Microbee", it was possible to draw with it using the "cursor"-keys,..It had two colours: Black and Green...
