He (that person that was most certainly not me), was riding (or falling off of), a ZZR400 at the time. He (you get that it really wasn't me but some one else entirely don't you?), felt like a bit of a prat.

I would imagine so but I was... er, somewhere else, yeah. I was off playing text adventures and was nowhere near that car park.

I later replaced text adventures with Resident Evil and spent my days mixing red and green herbs, and combining 3 types of gunpowder all day long.

Morrowind has given me endless inspiration. I sometimes have dream of being in Balmora buying stuff from Mage's Guild.

I heard such great things about Morrowind 3. I got to try that and part 4.

    Re: Favourite Games.

Well, the correct term is The Elder Scrolls. Morrowind is the the third on the series and the 4th is called Oblivion, which was a big sensation on Xbox 360 when it first came out. I highly recommend you get Oblivion instead of Morrowind. Morrowind is buggy, outdated, and it has a very bad dialouge system. The reason I play Morrowind more is because it has been modded heavily but you need at leasy a few months of customization to get that game enjoyable. I installed, uninstalled, then installed the game for 6 times before I finally got hooked and play it nonstop for a year.

Has to be Elite. The original version on the BBC model B that came on a 5 inch floppy disk. Spent most of my teens getting lost in space.

    Go S

    Your showing your age!

    I said S

Clicks the off button. Ha that will teach those text adventures who's boss!

Left a job once and had to go back because the dole office wanted proof of what I had been paid, Well I locked my cycle to a railing outside and when I came back for it all that was left was the lock! The lock was probably considered as pointless by the thief.Huh?

    Click!

Going S you meet your doom in the dark when a giant black spider eats you.

Now I'm going N with six legs and beady eyes!

Ahhh.... those were the days! I love Morrowind or rather, did until I completed it and someone told me some cheats for it so before you know it my character could jump continents, move at lightning speed and pretty much not die. Boring! As for the bugs in the game, one of them actually helped me defeat a character I just could not beat! He got trapped by a glitch in a doorway where I stood for about 15 minutes hacking away at him until he died! I spent 11 hours straight on that game!

Never even heard of oblivion! Is it good? Not that I have time anymore to play..... Marriage killed that!!

*edit* Checked out the Oblivion site, looks cool! Nice artwork.

Fave games huh? Ooo, that's a tuff one. I've been gaming for a very long time! And luckily for me, I married a fellow gamer!

Ok here we go:  Final Fantasy...uh, which one you ask? ooo, tuff. I guess for now I'd say 7.

Diablo 1 & 2, Disciples 2, Silent Hill 1. Shadow Hearts 1&2. Resident Evil 2, Argh! Way too many faves. I will just stop now.

I had assumed we were talking just video games right? There are other worlds of gaming that are fab too.  Er...getting twitchy....must game....

    :)

Morrowind you say? I just threw a copy of morrowwind in the bin..never loaded it on my PC, it was in a bundle of games that came with my graphicscard for free...now i read all you guys raving on about it....did i miss much? Confused

I got Oblivion on PS3 but i havent got time for such vast games. It is nicely designed..i also really loved the look of Asssains Creed, now that was great to watch.

"Sleep... those little slices of death, oh how i loathe them!"

Nice pics RN. Those are all awesome. Silent Hill 2 was pretty good too. I own but have yet to play Suikoden 3.

From what I hear and have seen Morrowwind was great. But if you started Oblivion, Morrowind's graphics are pretty dated. But wow, how large Oblivion is.....

    Re: Favourite Games.

I've played way too many games in my life. Tongue Tied But I'd say that my favorite is Baldur's Gate. If for no other reason than (for me) the all time best character in a game: Minsc. "Go for the eyes, Boo! Go for the eyes!" ... He still cracks me up. :)

I've played most of the recent generation of MMO's although having a 6 month old girl at home makes time too precious for those kind of time sinks.

I'm a little surprised that nobody mentioned Myst yet. Probably one of the first games I played where the graphics really made me go "Wow!" even if they were mostly pre-generated.

All things are possible, if we lose our minds to them.

Thanks Neeko. Yeah that puking scene in Silent Hill 2 was DISGUSTING! lol! I think I love the first one because they did so much with a limited system. Very spooky.

Ah Sukiden is a very good series as well. I don't think I quite finished 3....you know, sometimes life just happens!

    ;D

    Re: Favorite Games.

I've only played the first Silent Hill, and it was very atmospheric. The only problem is all the bits where you have to run from one place to another, running, and running, and running for miles and miles and miles (sometimes walking for a bit to rest your thumb), before getting to another part of the game where something actually happens. Those parts were extremely boring.
