Can we get an official confirmation on the image size of 300dpi at 2971 by 3479? Asking 'cos the last competition gave a fallacious image area which drove me monkey nuts

@BereN: I have to side with kaz here, why are your avatars always creepy dolls? Not that there is anything wrong with that but is there an actual reason for it?

On a doll's side note... here in Mexico city we have some old aztec water channels, and on them there is an island decorated with dolls fished out of the water... they seriously creep me out, but I thought you might like them...

Yes yes yes!! That's amazing! I love these.

I think they're all creepy. Especially the 'normal' ones, dressed up with their insanely happy smiles and Victorian attire. I especially dig the ones that are made to look super real - really freaky. But these 'hanging island' ones rule... I think I've said too much.

The prize sounds absolutely awesome. Although I feel a bit intimidated by the huge amount of talent I'm always seeing in IFX, I'll give it my best too. :)

On the subject of dolls...

The island has become quite a legend and attraction, the place is called xochimilco and the word for doll in spanish is "muñeca"... if you google images with those terms (in English and Spanish ) you will find lots of pictures... and I did not post the heavier one I could find.  Nothing to do with the competition, though...  I´m still filling the wastebasket with half concepts...

Come to Japan, they have shops where you can make your own dolls and dress them up however you like ...
