Hi there fellow countryman! Yeah, I may know your thoughts, sometimes I get so overwhelmed by digital painting and it's vantages that I forget about the real drawing scene, in real paper! It's difficult to keep at various borders of art when you just love it! We seem to tend to get carried away from other practices in this great stage that art is. You know, lots of materials, supports and different approaches! Still, as to making business, digital is much quicker than drying oils on a canvas with a hairdryer, he he ;) Thanks a lot for passing by friend!
poppylocke, I indeed considered the thing of adding highlights as you're saying, and 99% I will. The only thing is, under water, there are no specular lights as in "dry environments"! But, as you pointed out the eyes issue, and due to their lenticular properties I'm accepting that and definitelly gonna add it! Thanks a great lot for pointing that out!
P.S. : Why do the images have so much contrast on my screen and when I get to put them on the web, they loose it! I'm tired of calibrating this old screen of mine and never getting anywhere! DOOOOOUUUUGH!!!!
Truth is... I don't know!
