Gix - yes, you may equip S.Knotbucket (really need a shorter name for him, lol) as you see fit. you can give him a horse, a flying carpet or a tardis if you prefer! This is in the same vein as philby's question earlier in this thread: can a character summon familiars, etc to aid in the battle? They can have any kit they want, and they can have any powers or abilities they want. These are things that will lend interest to the fight and make for more interesting images. However, it is you have to draw them! your opponent is only required to draw you character -not any additional paraphenalia or companion pets.
The only thing i would say on this is that you should operate within the spirit of fightclub. Keep powers and abilities themed and in line with your character descritions please. Tellyhead, for instance, could have power over electrical equipment related to media (other tvs, camera, even other creations like himself). He can suck peoples souls - so maybe he can transfer consciousness too? There are a lot of possibilites to play with.. and these are things that can be explored during a battle. But he's not gonna have any abilites atht would let him summon dragons, nor would he have any magic weapons - unless of course he'd beaten somebody in a previous rounds and taken theirs.. You should be free to play and develop your own character during a fight. As i said: Stick within the spirit of Fightclub.
thanks anders, its turning into more of a bureaucratic exercise than i'd hoped. but once its started everything should run smoothly!
so the last thing i need to clear up is tied votes.. if this happens, then whoever received the drawn number of votes first will win. so - get in and vote for your favouriites early, you'll potentially be doing them a favour.
so, i think this is all but set up bar making the draw. lol - i could do it live in the DA chatroom kaz set up! or isnt there a llive chatforum on here somewhere? so tonight i will announcing 6 fighters who will battle over the next fortnight. the unfilled place and my unconfirmed place (George - with Balloon Boy) will automatically be placed in the second batch to avoid problems. the draw is still completely random so this will not affect anybody unfairly - as i'd have done the same if anybody had said they were unavailable over teh next two weeks. (And as i said few posts ago, the second batch of fights will be drawn in a fortnights time)
lol, im getting quite excited to see who's gonna be drawn against who! any more questions guys? or any last minute sign ups for that extra place?
