This last piece is just beautiful. But the blurred bird in the foreground distracts me and unfortunately degrades the beauty of the whole in my eyes. But the guardian creature is just.. well, beautiful.

i saw the trailer for last guardian on e3 and i liked the atmosphere, looked like something i would probably buy. The piece you did that was inspired by it is fantastic. its done very well, i love your style.

Thank you Pissedfurby and fablegoat for the niche comments.

Geir, I guess I can upload the same drawing without the blurred bird. I always duplicate the layers before applying this kind of effect.

Could be exiting to see. I mean, I might be wrong:)

Edit: Don't loose the bird entirely. Just put it in without the motion blur.

yah, don't lose the birds. I like them there and it gives the image a gentle sense to it. adds to the atmosphere of the image.

    Re: Atlan´s works.

the characters pretty kewl but your right, this ones a bit dry compared to the last one. one of the problems I think is that all of the red creatures are fairly static. for the most part they're going in the same direction and look the same as if they were just copies of each other. on top of that there just isn't enough in the image to put together a story or a reason for the image.

however, it is a great character creature study and I think the creature you've got is quite intriguing.

Welcome back Atlan! This is one good looking dude. The feet (shoes) look really great, and the coloring feels very dynamic and the muscles look really nice.

Thank you Kazky, at the moment that´s just what I´m trying to achieve. I find the looser style so difficult to master.

    Re: Atlan´s works.

    Hello Yian.

Thanks for the compliments. I used both a picture of Jamie Dornan and the body of a hip hop dancer as references, more specifically to achieve the pose of the head in the case of Jamie Dornan´s pic. No intention of copying his looks, though.
