*blows through scattering encouragement to all in need*

Hi I'm Dave and I am terrible at posting comments. I usually just delete whatever comment I'm making due to not wanting to hurt feelings with a language blunder.

I spend alot of time studying digital painting and trying to translate what I can remember from my years of traditional oil and acrylic painting. *cue violins* I'm trying to rewire my brain to this new way of painting since I lost a chunk of my memory and in that chunk was my painting vocabulary. I have a painting studio stocked with tons of supplies but I cant even remember how to mix paint. yeah its that bad. I cant remember how I did most of my old work, I used to sell a couple of paintings a month and the money was great! So, after 20+ years I'm starting over but this time its with Photoshop.

If you see something I'm working on, I really like any crits and comments. Its hard to offend me.

is that true zephyra? how did you lose your memory, that must suck big ones, i hope you don't mind me asking, and if you do, just say so, but i'm one of those people who have no sense of diplomacy!

and again, the gender blew my mind, I didn't think you were a Dave! gawd i'm quickly finding out i'm rubbish at gender detection!

Oh wow, hi Dave. Sorry, I missed your post. Thanx for catching that one Kaz. It's kewl. We're happy to help and I'm confident you'll get it together before long. I don't know how bad the damage is but if you still have your motor skills, retain memory and are able to use your imagination then I think you'll be alright. You may have to relearn some things but I've only been at it for 3 years now (or has it been 4?) and I've come a long way so there's hope. I'll keep an eye open and offer any help I can.

LOL kaz If you could see me you wouldn't be confused.

Yeah I have had the misfortune to have been in one too many car wrecks (5 but none my fault) but lucky to be alive. I'm just glad I discovered IFX at the book store, it has me actually doing something besides reading.

kaber its the imagination mixed with pain meds thats messing me up as it makes me tend to overwork a idea...or sit and stare at the brushes I've collected trying to decide which one to use.
