edart - anything with helicopters has to be good!

martin - I'm no expert, but there's a few perspective lines gone astray there.

Notice the gratuitous bosom and the promise of future inferno !!

Nice topic Tas ... would give this a go however I will be off on holiday for two weeks when this challenge ends (somewhere hot), so not sure if I would be able to squeeze this one in before I go [:'(]

Looking through there is some really nice work going on here ...

Quidam - nice idea and good use of a doodle

edart - really nice piece of work

solomon01 - like the craft and fire effects, looking forward to seeing more of the dragon

tector - smoking lady, nice take on the concept

martin - agree with tector ... think it is something with the lean of the buildings between left/right sides is a bit out from what I can make out

dragon - you've got a really hot babe here Wink

bubble - nice experimentation with ideas here

rainforestgoddess - love the flame effects and the planet looks hot however fell a little bit of softening in places may be needed?

xjustanotherstarx - lovely cloud effects although think some could do with a bit of edge softening and highlights in places to add just a little realism?

Darn you have all got me fired up ... where's my sketch pad?

Midge:  last go around (Creatures of the NIght) I was off at a rather soggy camping trip for a week, so I did my piece and posted it before I left.  If you're inspired, go for it!

and thanks for the advice, it's still early in the process.  I have a lovely flat spaceship that looks like a paper airplane now.  Sad

Spaceship = rate limiting step for me

Mine so far. Needs more fire and destruction, and possibly nudity

Hence the request for useful assistance as architecture ain't my thing.

Martin, I did a quick paintover for you and as you can see, the problem is not just that the buildings are leaning a lot to the left but that in some places the lines start out good and then lean. Unless you can correct this your problems will remain mate. Hope that helps!

If you rotate it a few degrees to the Right and sort that issue I circled you will have a fine looking image without perspective issues.

Dragons' girl may be omg drop dead gorgous, but your sassy Moll has so much attitude and personality she dominates the painting.

Thanks rainforestgoddess I think I will give it a go but time spent on it is going to be limited. Away visiting at the weekend so may draw up some sketches while in the lovely Forest of Dean ... thinking I may give a dragon a try as not done one of those before.

I am sure a bit of shadow, highlights and touch of detail and effects will bring your craft to life Big Smile

Cheers. I kinda messed up last night though and flattened the layers without saving it out first. Now it's a bit of a mess after experimenting and harder to fix. I don't think it was meant to be.
