Another suggestion for DVD content could be pdf versions of the older magazines.  I know they've done this a couple of times, and I honestly haven't looked at the DVD for a couple of months, but for those of us that stumbled upon the magazine later in time, I think it would be good.

though I have all the mags I know there's a lot of people who would like to see this more often. I don't think it should be every issue as we'd run out of back issues eventually, but I think it'd be nice to see them a little more often.

or how about combining with some of your sister magazines to put some of those back issues on the disc? Like computer arts or 3D world. A little free advertising for them and some addition bonus content that would be applicable to us might be good. Just as long as the sister mags you pick aren't kitten or croche magazines.

Great idea Goat!  I love both of those mags, but my heart and subscription belongs to IFX.  Having back issues of those would provide for some good reading as well!
