Just wondering if any Painter 12 users are running Windows 7 and if there are any perfomance issues?

I'm thinking of upgrading from Windows Vista to WIndows 7. Hoping it is friendly with Painter 12.

This is a very late reply, but I have Windows 7 and I've recently tried the Painter 12 trial. I haven't used it enough to be certain but at least I didn't discover anything that seemed like bugs. (I just didn't quite like Painter itself...)

EDIT: Just recalled that I experienced lag especially just after changing brushes. Not sure what the cause of such an issue usually is, though.

Hey folks thanks for the replies. Just spotted them. Painter12 is working great with windows 7 as you suggested.

Is there a way to outline text in Painter12? Haven't managed to find a work around or way to do it yet.

I'm not overly familiar with text in Painter, as I normally do all that in PS or illustrator, but if you don't need the text to remain editable then there is a workaround.

Convert the text to Shapes from the Layer drop down menu. Open the Shapes Attributes dialog and select stroke if it's not selected already. You can alter the width and colour.

Alternatively, you can select the text and convert the selection to shapes, etc. that way you still have editable text. You'd just have to do the process again if you did edit the original text.
