In The Shadows

Brief: What is hiding in the shadows, is it a monster or an alien, or a teddy bear - you decide - and depict it.

Deadline: Midnight (UK) on Wednesday 4th July. (this is Wednesday night, Thursday morning for those that need clarification). There is a 5 minute grace period allowing people to get their posts and links sorted. A moderator will then post a list of valid entries after checking links and voting will begin until the following midnight. Feedback is welcomed during the voting process.

Post all comments, crits, sacrifices, and all WIPs (required for entry) in THIS thread. You final entry should be posted in the finals thread:



FINAL

We have made the rules clearer and created a guide for posting and linking wips. Please ensure that you read this, it has lots of useful information.  Entries without two separate wips in the wip threads or incorrect linking/posting will be disqualified.

• You must post at least two separate wips into the wip thread. (rules) (posting guide)
  
• You must post a final image in the finals thread along with two clickable links, that link back to your wips in the wip thread (guide)  
• if you have a problem posting or any challenge problems please pm (personal message) me for help (guide)

I will have to think of something to put in the 'weekly challenge suggestions' thread, otherwise you will have to keep on coming up with all these challenges yourself!

and here comes my first WIP for the MYFX Challenge 285 - In The Shadows

Looks good galip. Just a quick suggestion though - if you resize your picture before posting it you'll get a better result than the crushed picture I see. In addition, putting a large image but resizing it in the browser (so it's still a large image but the browser resizes it) takes (my computer at least) a fair few seconds to open. I hope I've said this in a way you understand - I was struggling to describe it in English, let alone to someone who doesn't speak it as a mother tongue!

Some cool looking images already, well done guys.

Think I might just keep it simple and do a creepy portrait...
