Was wondering if anyone has an answer. I've set up exact color management profiles in both Photoshop and painter 11 and I'm using the Adobe color external color engine in Paint but no matter what I do painter 11 washes out the image when I go from photoshop to painter. Here's an example

I had the exact same problem. My setting are the same as yours except for Painter's Color Engine. Changing Painter's Color Engine back to Windows CMS solved it but it may not be the same for all computer setups. You could simply turn off Color Management if you don't need it.

Thanks joeparis for the advice I gave it a shot turning off color management also turning back the engine to default but it still washes out the image. I didn't have this problem on my old computer so maybe it has something to do with my new rig. I'll have the crawl the message boards some more see what I can come up with.

i have the same problem...i swear i fixed it once but then my computer got a nasty virus and had to reformat and having the problem again.

I was able to fix it with my machine as joeparis suggested by just turning off color management works fine now. (It didn't work the first time I tried it but after a windows update and restarting my machine it worked!) Late thanks for the advice.
