Yeah, McCarthy's the best for me (with Dillon a close second). There was a 2000ad cover once where Steve Dillon did a Dredd which had quite a McCarthy-esque helmet - the best of both worlds.

    You can see it here:

This is the definitive Dredd for me, though:

You should definitely do a Chopper pic.

    Here's more stuff.

Some guy who's name I forget (Warblade?) from Jim Lee's WildCATS:

    Roxanne (Freefall) Spalding from Gen13:

    Great work EM
Entertaining to say the least,  such a wide variety of characters splendidly committed to the page (can i say page even though its digital?)
Great colours and lovely studies your pages are treat to the eyes i really enjoyed my stroll through your sketches and stuff. You make it seem like you have effortlessly splash colours and lines on the page and these very relaxed and gracefully drawn images appeared. I was really entertained here, thanks very much mate  Can't wait to see more from you.

    Thank you both.

Gurch - That's the trick, trying to make had work look effortless. Sometimes I succeed more than other times.

Em, could you do me a favour and cast your expert anatomical eye over this for me and rip it to shreds if necessary.

really nice, Last of the Mohicans is on of my favorite films.  It has the most powerful last 20 minutes of any film i had ever seen.

    Re: em... scribbles

    Thanks,

It's funny - Last of the Mohicans isn't a movie that would instantly come to my mind if I had to list my favourites, but I watch quite frequently, so it must be.

    Re: em... scribbles

    Cheers,

Apart from a few issues of WildCATS and Gen13, I never read any of those Image comics myself. I'm not a particular fan of that style of art.

I particularly hated the work of Rob Liefeld, and did this drawing, in his style, of the Spirit - it got me banned from his forum (a badge of honour in my mind).

    Re: em... scribbles

Now that is funny. But are you sure the torso shouldn't be about 5 times larger than that with the head that size?

    Re: em... scribbles

Serious you got banned!!! lmao!!! Thank-god Will Eisner never let him touch the Spirit( because your drawing is perfect Its thw way he'd draw it. I agree with you, a lot of the art did suck at image. Stories too.
