It's officially been aaaages since I did any work on this piece, but I finally felt well enough to get some painting done today. This is very much a work in progress at the moment, as I realise there is a huge amount of pop-out currently in the layering as the main character really needs to be blended into the background a lot more. This is the current direction I am going in. Will be cutting back on quite a few of the stars in my next pass, as I realise they just distract too much, but figured I'd post as-is for critique/advice.
