this is a comic study i did from a book called "stormwatch". a great book! the pencils were originally done by Tom Raney, love his style.

thank you solomon, i have a few more posemaniac studies i still have to upload, im too lazy and tired right now though.

i found this really cool thread over at CA.org and it was just everyone posting their pictures of themselves. so you can see what everyone looks like. i thought that was a cool idea, and ive always wondered what people on here looked like, so if anyones interested heres a picture i just took tonight on my cell phone of my mug. i think it would be cool if others showed theirs in their sketchbooks or wherever too. cmon dont be shy!

and heres a miniature version of me. i think i was like 3 or something.

Hey Nicky, love that Stormwatch picture! One little thing i'm doing right now is when I draw from an artist, is to go draw some different in that same style afterwards, from life, photo or whatever - it's a good way to get into the artist's mindset off your own accord. Was an exericse recommended by the 'chiu - meister, he says he did it every day for months.

solomon- haha, im actually wearing a human mask in that photo, i really do look like my avatar.

alex- huh, thats a good idea. i dont know if ill be able to pull it off, because Tom Raney is just too stylish and good, but ill give it a shot. i was never really good at spotting the blacks like most comic pencilers/inkers can. i almost always go overboard and ruin the line art. it will definately be an interesting experiment though.
