For the warrior woman, I'd have had her holding the shield differently, with her fingers facing us rather than the back of her hand. It just seems more natural to me.

    Re: Assassin and Warrior Wip

I'm not sure that's actually going to fix the awkwardness of how she's holding the shield. If you just flip her hand to face the other way then her whole arm is in the wrong position to be holding it correctly.

Good point banj. Rodriguez, don't forget to change the rest of the arm to match the new hand position. I don't think it'll be too drastic a change though.

It might be better to drop the shield altogether and paint a sword in instead, I think you could leave the arm as it is then.

Not bad on the shading. I would replace the shield with a sword.IMO.

I think you still need to move the warrior's elbow.

Could you rotate the shield so she is holding the top strap while it's base is resting on the ground?

Hey folks, haven't had any time to work on this unfortunately but

moved the shield about a bit think it works best where it was

too much space anywhere else. Her elbow was way off, still needs

    a bit of work.

should be back with the finished one soon

    Thanks for the crits Smile

    Re: Assassin and Warrior Wip

Hi, I think you're right to move the shield back into her hand and not on the floor because it doesn't fit well with the pose of the figure.  If it was in the other hand it would appear as though she was leaning on it which would work better with the bodies weight distribution.  However I agree with the above comments in that the elbow needs to be moved as the arm looks too stiff and awkward.  Plus if she raised the shield to defend herself it'd be upside down.  I'm getting the impression you're hesitant to move the arm into a different position (apologies if I'm wrong) but sometimes you have to restart and change certain parts in order for the piece to work.
