I usually post my more polished caricatures in the 2D section, but I thought I'd start a thread for my quicker ones.

To start off, Johnny Depp. He's notoriously difficult to capture.

how do you pick your caricatures? is it just random, or do you have a bunch in your mind already that you are waiting to do? i wish i could do good caricatures, but i could never exaggerate the right features, and the likeness would never really be there. you have definately got the knack for it man, good stuff.

ha! yea your right she does look alot like pocohantus! also, i was just opening my browser window, and yahoo is my homepage, and when it fully loaded there was a huge picture of borat on there. i think that guy (not one of his characters) would be perfect for you to do a caricature of. he is very animated, and has ridiculous expressions, almost like jim carrey. dont get me wrong, i hate the guy, but i think he would be fun to make into a caricature.

oh also, i forgot to ask you if you start all of your caricatures out as monochrome greyscale, or do you switch it up depending on how you feel about it?

nickybeats - I'm not a fan of Sacha Baron Cohen either, and I've seen a fair number of Borat caricatures, but doing him as himself might be an interesting option.

To answer your query - no, they don't all start as B&W. I'll make a decision early on whether it's going to be colour or remain B&W.
