I use a normal mouse to do all my art, but when i see pictures of other digital artists workspaces, they have tablets. Would my art improve with a tablet, or is it just more like traditional art so people are used to it?

Do you find it easier to draw and paint with a pencil, pen, or brush, than you do using a mouse? If the answer to that is yes, then a tablet will make life easier for you.

Yes, I feel much better drawing with pencil and pen than a mouse.

You can allways simulate drawing with a mouse by poking your pencit through a bar of soap, and then try and draw with the bar of soap in a mouse grip ;p Why keep life simple, when it can be challenging XD

I found my life was made much easier when I got the tablet. It's more natural and you'll be able to use the pen pressure features of photoshop that you can't get with a mouse. You'll see that your art improves with the use of natural input devices.
