One thing to note for long time buyers, the issue and the book are the same ones you've no doubt picked up already or are getting in your subscription. Wink so don't feel too heartbroken over it.

although if you don't subscribe and you missed out on the compilation v2 then you may need to go to the nearest airport. Stick out tongue

out of curiosity. what's on the DVD they mention? or is it the one that comes with the mag?

Hey Fabe, yeah, it's the one that usually comes with the mag.

Yep, Kaz, it is only on sale in airports, it's like a grown up bumper annual sort of idea. Did any one else get 'bumper' issues of mags and comics during the school holidays? I used to get the bumper issues of The Beano and Whizzer & Chips! :)

I'll leave this thread alone now...

Re: IFX Valuepack on sale now

Well this brings up an interesting issue.  I was just in the England from Aug 2nd to the 14th.  I was looking forward to purchasing a current issue of ImagineFX while I was there (the magazine arrives about a month or so late here in the states, for about double the UK price). There was a big Waterstones right across the street from our hotel in London.  No ImagineFX.  I proceeded to go into multiple WH Smiths and Waterstones throughout the trip--much to the annoyance of my wife.  Still no ImagineFX (although, there were plenty of Lad's Mags, and the occasional Computer Arts).  I started to wonder if ImagineFX was actually even offered in England, or if the magazine had possibly even gone under. Finally, near the end of our trip, I went into a Borders and they had a copy.

I don't know if all the issues were sold out, or just not carried by WH Smith and Waterstones.  I hope they were sold out, because otherwise you guys are not doing a very good job of distributing to your market.  And now I'm bummed out that I missed out on this Value Pack being offered.

    Oh well.  Cheers mates.

Fantasy Art Exhibition Volume 1 is dated "August 2007".

    Volume 2 says "Summer 2008"

After a bit of counting on my abacus I'm wondering if there's going to be a Volume 3 sometime soon?
