Ok, I do this ever now and again.  I find myself getting into a comfort zone, I paint things I love and tend to say very close to them, whichn isn't always a bad thing but your stuff can get predicable. So I find the best way to break your comfort zone is to paint for someone else.

So by way of thanks for everyone who’s helped and inspired me, I doing a free commission…ohhhhh.

Hears how its going to work, whoever wants themselves painted give me the situation they want themselves in (their idea), I pick my favourite/unusuel, I do a quick mock up of the idea showing lighting and “pose” and then they provide the ref shot of them with said lighting. I continue it on this wip and the finished copy i'll put into my gallery for the winner to print off

There are 2 rules... it has to be you and NO NUDITY!! lol.

And as for the idea Geir, its your choice, the idea is to get me "out of my comfort zone" so feel free to pic whatever (ture i will pic my fav, but thats still only gona be the fav of the ideas posted)

So here goes:) Ok -so I'm kind of a big guy (120kg muscle and fat). So I wanna be a kind of an all seeing techno buddha (by buddha I'm thinking more the serenity than the look of him). Hooked up to the world with wires and tubes, machinerie, electronics and what not like an all seeing entety.  Like it's all grown into me, or I'm grown in to it. Oh oh oh ... and one or two alien servants doing my biddings:)Man! No I really wanna win this:)

Just go insane with it. The more the better. I want it to have a grand looking scale. Far enough from your comfort zone, jonny?

I must say this is weird. I guess people is just afraid of maybe having to show their true face on the web. I mean, COME ON PEOPLE. THE MAN IS OFFERING TO PAINT A PORTRAIT OF YOU ANY WAY YOU WISH!! FOR FREE!!!!

On the other hand this do enheance my chance of winnig though. hehehe (evil laughter)

I might be interested in doing it but I am not comfortable with what I look like these days.  So am not sure I would want a portrait of me.  I like the idea of doing a painting that is out of the blue like this but..... 

Not even sure what I would come up with as a scenario for that matter.  Mind you I could toss you a challenge to do animals or something like that.  I do not think there are too many people out there that do animals.  HHmmmm...

Maybe a person surrounded with dragons and cats???

im down! i want a dark sinister portrait of myself as a gunslinger from the wild west, but set in a futuristic setting. like me standing against a futuristic bar, standing straight up holding out 2 old school six shooters with my arms coming straight out at you, oh yea and my arms are crossed, pointing the guns in different directions. HOW SICK IS THAT IDEA??! you know you want to paint it.

p.s. i have all the characteristics of a scary looking gunslinger. the scrubby beard and all!
