fates_fickle_finger:it seems if I dont paste a link to my ifx gallery in my profile then there seems to be no way for people to find my gallery? is this correct, it seems I wasnt visible for 2 months even though people were trying to find my gallery, and I wonder how many other people are not visible when they assume they are because they have uploaded images but havnt posted a link in their profile to their portfolio. and what happens if I also want to post a link to another site like DA? cant verywell put that in the same place.
If somebody wants to find your specific gallery and knows the user name they can use the search function on the gallery page to find an artist. You should also show up in the random and ordered displays of the main gallery for anyone browsing through, so your gallery isn't entirely invisible.
As far as I know the tags/keywords are the folder names. In other words your create a tag/keyword to create a folder and copy images into whatever folders they relate to. You can have the same image in several folders.
But yes, it would probably be a good idea to have a detailed explanation for people so we don't get the same questions asked every five seconds.
