I'm not sure how to explain it, but from time to time, and even in some of your paintings, while studying the skin tones and colours used you don't often see just light and dark versions of the local colour, but greens, blues, purples.  As a general rule I realise that if a highlight is a light cyan the shadow is some kind of purple, loosely, but I'm not sure where to apply the reds, greens and yellows on the skin accurately..

Marta if your dishing out help lol, can you give me your veiw on the skin on my new wip , its a bit flat i'm adding textures and seems to be helping, but its the general skin i have diffaculty with... you know the skin without a features (dos that make sense... nope..ok ok the skin on the checks and such) plus ears..... i hate ears but for some dumb reason i've made it a main feature on my painting rather than hiding them behind hair doh!!

awesome. I like the gothic stuff. find it so interesting to look at sometimes. one of my wife's favourite bars is a gothic bar called the Velvet Underground here in Toronto. must say first time she took me in there it was VERY interesting.

i love all that stuff, i have to say though you do see some 'consciously bizarre' people there, i always find them really pretentious, we used to have a bar like that, and if you didn't have New Rocks on 20 feet tall you just looked weird! I have New Rocks, but ladylike one's with little heels, ha ha

lol. my wife has destroyer boots. and the one year I bought her a leather skirt and leather halter top to go with them. so she's got the stuff. just now that we're married we don't go out quite as often.

I'm involved in the subculture but I'm pretty reserved due to work and painting hehe, you can't get all dressed up only to get dirty. It's spoils everything. =) 

 Can't wait to see the latest issue. We're falling behind where I live so ...hopefully it'll catch up soon. We have June right now. o_o;
