Can I be first to post a very very early and quick WIP?

Edit: Thinking of having santa (delivering the presents) looking up at the rocket ship that just blasted past him!

PS. sort of inspired by the Balloon boy story LOL

O..K.. go easy on me but this is a doodle I created in the Brushes app on my iPod touch with this challenge in mind.

Here is what I have so far, still struggling with the composition and thinking how to make the snow look better without confusing it with stars

I'll be joining this challenge as a way to improve my 2D skills, so your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated along the way! I'll go for a bit of a funny theme which hopefully will garner a little chuckle when people see it. My idea is Santa Claus took a wrong turn and got lost delivering the presents and ended up on the moon and is now asking directions to an astronaut on the surface of the moon. :)

I'll try and post my progress soon!

I'm trying to master the basics of Zbrush to build the rocket ship from my concept so it may be a while before you see any real progress on my submission!

Wow! You actually did that with an iPod Touch? Pretty impressive. I had no idea you could do stuff like that with an iPod Touch. I guess you can do pretty much anything with an iPhone these days!

Can you import it on your computer and continue playing around with it in Photoshop or something?!

I've been painting on my ipod for some time now and even started A Q&A Thread about it

When one says Christmas in space - is it the Coca Cola geriatic popularised pseudo mainstream culture image we are subscribing to, or the paganistic Sun worship heraliding back to the Pharoh Amen-Ra?

This is still crazy rough, but my entry will look something like this. The background will be the inside of a cockpit (maybe with some stuff floating around), and some stars seen through the windows.

Nice! Thanks for the link to the thread. I'll be sure to check back again if I ever get an iPhone!
