One thing you should be grateful for is that you at least got an interview. Most people don't even get that far. Smile

Yes, but what is it, and how does it increase your chances of getting a job in the games industry?

    *smacks head on table*

lol basically I'd get paid to play games and find bugs or technical issues in them and its something I do regularly anyway so I'd be naturally good at it.

hmm....yah but it probably wouldn't help you get a job as an artist in the games industry. you'd just be a part of a gaming cell that reports on game bugs which probably don't even interact with the actual artist but more likely with the 3D programmers that are ironing out the bugs. Wink

Gee wiz if you are super good please go work for Bethesda. Oblivion was so buggy they really should fire all their QA people. I still love that game though.

Re: Speed, is it really that much of an issue?

I'd love to but due to the way America looks like it is entering a civil war I am avoiding that place like the plague right now unfortunately, plus it may well be too expensive to stay there with how bad the recession is.

Oh damn and they are recruiting an intern as well >_< hmmmm.....

And frankly you can't really blame the QA guys because they aren't in charge, I'd fire the programmers because its obvious their art department is really good but thats it, QA guys are well, just QA guys :p you can't pin them for any design decisions really because if their bosses say "Release it, times up" then they have to.
