kazky:bout time you got your daily sketches together solomon, really nice stuff, there were some i missed in the daily thread (too many pages) I love your figure studies, where are you getting your references from? I want to have a go, but i only know posemaniacs. Lovely work
Hey Kaz,
Thanks for the compliments. to answer your question I have a few books in my collection that I use.
This is nice becuase you can compare the poses on a page and choose them to fit your needs. Generally I use these books to go through my figure studies when a live model isn't handy (or my girlfriend doesn't want to pose nude at the moment)
The Posefiles have a ton of images but the lighting isn't as good and male figures aren't used as much.
The Chartwell book doesn't have as many images but the lighting and variety is a little better.
Alex Tooth- I'm not really a pro yet, but I have had a few art commissions and had some comic book art published a few years back.
I've been doing art since I could pick up a pencil. Lately I've been focusing on my art with more intensity.
Lukas-thanks. I like drawing hands all the time, a good exercise to revisit often.
I'll post the books for people's reference
Here's Posefile
