Re: Girl with guns- lineart looking for improvement

@Favreau my only concern is that you said a "nice" butt...as in, if she had that kind of butt she'd be more your type?

@penable I'm cluless when if comes to gun lol the doodle with the holster wasn't accually ment anatomicly "correct" I just wanted to ask if it made sense to basecly have an holster that only held the gun in place and didn't have the kinda "bag" part under it, so technically the guns would show....and cool people don't need to look at what their aiming to hit their target penable...don't you know that by now? lol accually, like I said in my first of second post, right now, she's looking at her second target and she was looking at the right target when she shot with her first gun xD

thanks for the input guys, I'll keep on working on it

    Lineart completed!

okay! here's the final lineart, unless you notice something big I could have missed, it's just about time I start working on the colors now ^^ It's been a great improvement from the fist lineart, that's for sure! I think it look professional ^^ then again, maybe I'm just to exited about being done with the inking thehehe

Funny, I didn't really mean 'nice' as in speaking about my personal preferences in deriere, I was just speaking in general. Smile

I can see you did make the back into a nice curve which is nice. She looks great.

    starting on the colors

xD sorry I had to ask...since I post my WIP on different forums...it does happen a couple of times that I get stuff like she'd be nicer with these or these assets as in: I like it better and not it looks wierd/is not anatomicly correct. lol yeah, the back curve was a bit extreme, I gess I just like showing off my characters asses so bad sometimes I tend to break their vertebral colum? lool

     starting on the colors

edit: I color glasses like uber crap in a very fuggly way...can anyone help me make them look more real and less fuggly? T-T please?

Great colors on the girl, I'm not digging the background right now. It's a bit static for such a lively character, consider maybe changing the angle of the buildings so it's a bit of an overhead angle.

Bunny Bunny I been thinking, what the heck have you been drinking?
Looks like water tastes like wine, Oh my God it's turpentine!

Needs action in the background to suit the character

I wish I could but I don't know how to go about it, I meen, if I do that, the building's vanishing points won't be the same as the girl's :(

I'll be adding some drones for her to fight

well, you could have different vanishing points for different elements in a painting. I agree that some more dynamism to the buildings could improve the overall composition.

The vanishing points don't need to be the same, only the horizon line. That way, she can be standing/jumping/living in a world at an angle and still correpsond to her background.

    Hope that helps.

It's all a bit vertical at the moment. Try rotating the girl and/or the background a few degrees (but not both by the same amount).

Re: Girl with guns- COLORS looking for improvement

but considering it's the start of the fall that's filling her coat with wind/air... it has to be horizontal to the ground no? T-T does that meen Id have to change the hair and coat in order to keep it logic with a more dynamic background that doesn't share any vanishing point with the girl?
