Hey matey, always good to see your progress! I like the confident strokes you used to apply the light here, it has a nice style. Also I think the Hannibal is great! I really think you should pursue that style, it has a strong graphic comic feel :)

Wows... I really need to get back into all this shizzle :S I haven't been on Photoshop or Painter since April, or much picked up a pencil, ack dunno what happened; been goofing off on games too long.. stupid things :( Give a tip to get me back on the 'saddle!

mo real tip Alex just do it. Realise that you are improving and just continue. If you cant think of what to draw check for stock photos and draw them.

love the value studies, the side profile face is superb phoeni, as for crits, the other guys facial proportion looks a little out, the face looks too long and narrow, however he may well have that sort of face.

your white values, are a little difficult to make out, i think i'm seeing a low energy bulb, a potato? possibly a can with pens, but i'm not sure to be honest, so i'd define your shapes a little to make it clearer. Very nice shading though, especially on the bulb.
