    SUMO Paint - Cheap Alternative

For all those out there looking for a REALLY cheap alternative to the high end painting software, how about try out this browser-only software. A friend sent this to me but after playing with it a bit I figured it was worthy of posting up here for everyone.

The only downside really is that you can't save 'high res' kind of files. You're more or less stuff with web graphics. But it's still kewl to play with and no doubt just as good as that Nintendo DS painting program. Wink

Hmm, that's quite fun playing around with that. I like the effect you get with the pen.

I WAS going to play with this tonight but then I decided to back up my laptop on a new external drive. So playtime on this program will have to wait till tomorrow. Stick out tongue

Very cool ! It´s surprisingly fast for a webb-app. Tried it today by creating a sketch for the "Daily Sketch" challenge here on the forums.

Thanks for the tip, Fabled !

yah, the speed of the thing was what surprised me the most when I was shown it. quite handy when you just want to do up some quick thumbnails or web sketches.

Oh! Great find! Much better than Photoshop's free online tool PX

Re: SUMO Paint - Cheap Alternative

Yeah, its used mainly for photo manipulation. almost all tools to draw are gone.

Plus you have to create an account to log in and other stuff. What a waste of energy.
