I drew the wall beside my computer...I was hoping for something much more profound and much less nerdy, but after a while of reference searching I looked over and decided I liked my wall best. Alas. :p

A beautiful painting of that wall indeed. And you do make me curious about the story behind those framed cards.

I chose one of the most obvious walls - the great one in China:

I sketched mine with an ink pen as usual. Another study from a drawing in Hale's wonderful book:

New month means new IFX monthly challenge and I thought it would be a great start if we have the challenge theme as our first sketch subject. Who knows, we might even get inspired to develop it to a finished piece eventually.

Sketchstorm #54: Out of The Mist

Here is the very first, quick and rough scribble that came to mind. A giant carrying another giant, carrying a third one reading a book. On their way out of the mist they meet a group of riders. Don't know if I'll use this weird idea for the challenge, but here it is :

Time for another animal then, this time the mighty Elephant.
