i think that is a brilliant idea! i absolutely love Kat, her portrait skills are simply astounding, but there are also as you say many other 'stars' in the body ink world. i'm a huge tattoo fan and addict, but you see so many of the same design/chinese writing etc, that is so nice to see unusual body art.

We should all show our tattoo's too!! Well, maybe not all of them!

Saw Kat special a few nights ago... she pushed a guys daughter onto his chest... she's terminal and he wanted a permanent reminder of her... looks like she's sleeping on his chest and it was so freakin' good I practically cried! Amazing stuff...

I say, go for it! a 101 crash course on tattoo design for those of us who arn't pationate enough to go out there and buy a tattoo magazine.

Tattoos have everything to do with fantasy; they're mysterious, exotic, worn by many characters in great fantasy illustrations like the cover of issue 15,  they most often have tribal or fantasy theme to them and can give quite an aura to a character. In addition, I don't think we ought to spit on any new aproache to creativity and tattoo's limitations and medium forced the artists of this domain to be exacly that: creative and go out of the beaten paths.

You have my vote and support with this idea, I'm quite curious to see what kind of workshop we'd get out of that. I don't know zits about tattoos, but I always wanted to be able to design some for my characters instead of just copy\pasting other's.
