problems....

    problems....

    hi ! when i open a file in photoshop that i first painted in corel (or the opposite) the colors from one software to the other change dramatically!! how can i fix this?

    I'm not 100% certain about the details, but I believe you can create a colour profile to use across all platforms. To do this you will also need to colour calibrate your monitor. If you do a search for those terms I'm sure something will turn up.

     

    Although someone said in another thread that Photoshop and Painter will always handle colours slightly differently.

    Yup it was mentioned here: http://community.imaginefx.com/forums/thread/121888.aspx recently (as well as a few other places in the past). As was said there and here, there will always be a slight difference between them but using the colour profiles help to lessen that a bit.
