    DS Colors! Competitions

Since I'm a huge fan of the DS Colors! program for the Nintendo DS, I ran across this and thought I would share it with you all:

The Colors! Gallery is holding a contest for people using Colors! on the Nintendo DS.
I really don't know where to post this, so I'll go here.
Check out the contest @: http://colors.brombra.net/
There is a contest for Diablo Content
And there is a contest for Conan

    Share your work with us.

No, not an IFX Challenge, but I thought it would be good for those people who do a lot on the DS.
I don't know if I'm going to enter or not.  Just got to think of something, and add it to my list of challenges to work on.

    What about you?

I love DS Colors! I really wish there was an undo or layers. But some of the art in the gallery is amazing.

hmm, maybe I might. I gotta talk to someone on how to get the images off. I'm still not sure the right way to go about it.

Neeko, i dont know about any right way to do. but i get the images off by removing the card and putting it into the USB reader and inserting it into the PC. I have heard tales of the wi-fi method but i think you need to have a wi-fi compatiable game in the first place to set the DS up.

God luck if you do choose to enter the comp. Yes

I couldn't find the saved files on the usb, but I also didnt look too long. Are they saved as individual files or as a save file? Where do you find your Gurch?

    Re: DS Colors! Competitions

    Hey guys... Neeko.
Colors creates a folder within your cart's root directory (I think).  The folder (oddly enough) is called "COLORS!"  All of the saved files are in there... But they are named and numbered.  Drag your png and drw files into your folder, and I would suggest getting the ColorsDraw program (written in java and found at the colors website) to see your video and increase your image size.  I believe that you will need both the png and the drw file to enter the colors contest.

    Hope that helps,

    Matt
