) You mean the daily sketch?
Yes, the challenge is to do 365 consecutive sketches (one every day for a year - its really hard). but they can be stick men/doodles if you are short of time.(I've seen backgrounds, sketches on greggs wrappers, literal stick men, you name it) although people like Em tend to do such fantastic work in 30 mins that most of us up our game to try and keep up. plus its a wonderful chance to improve your skillz and get feedback and suggestions to where you are going wrong.
Some of us post wips daily for a more complex piece if we can't do it in a day.
It's a Personal challenge- if you sketch every day you will improve ,if you stretch yourself, by practice if nothing else. Some people are keeping a personal tally resetting to 1officially when they miss a day(or ten) but keeping their personal total going.
Some people have dropped out of the challenge but continue to drop by to share their work now and again. It's up to you, as long as it encourages you to draw more often. Hope that helped?
*edit*-Oh, and they don't have to be posted on the day if you are short of time ,or the scanner broke , or you are on holiday with no access to a computer etc.( as long as you drew them on the day(s), 1 each day),
