damn Euan.... sweet as always....very nice....you know wht I love about y our work/style? just the looseness and confidence in which you paint... it's actually taught me to be more loose and confident when I put down a stroke with my trusty nib

hey you gonna see Hellboy 2?

    Re: em... scribbles

    Thank you both

kazky - I didn't have any intention of taking this picture any further. I thought the rough, sketchy style suited him as is. I may do another Clint in the future (and by that I mean a drawing done in the future, not Clint Eastwood a la Buck Rogers).

carly - I like loose, impressionistic painting styles. And I'm lazy.

Yes, I will see Hellboy 2 when it comes out, but there's plenty before that (Iron Man, Indiana Jones, Incredible Hulk)

I might try the lazy approach then Em...maybe I can make it work for me.... I was hoping to see an entry from you on the Character Challenge Euan...oh well

    Re: em... scribbles

I did intend to, but I just never found the time or inspiration. Everything I thought of was just generic blehhhh (with the wording on the mock cover being about character design, I didn't think generic blehhh would cut it).

martin - Obviously, Dredd was largely based on Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry (along with the guy from Death Race 2000), but I've always though a younger Nick Nolte would have been good in the role (before Nolte decided to play his Down and Out in Beverly Hills character in real life).

Either would have been vastly superior to Sly although even the baddie in the film whose name eludes me right now actually made Sly look ok!
