January is definately twice as long nimh, just seems eternal doesn't it? And i didn't realise rain had dropped to 1 point! poor girl, that's rubbish, and thats the danger point i thought of in the beginning, but i'm sure she'll keep at it, i know i would do now, it's just such a great exercise to do.

Well noones commented her for quite sometime so I figgured I'd spur people on. Everyone is doing excelent but theres still along way to go. We all have the potential to be awesome. I have noticed an improvement in most peoples work except the first posters as I have nothing to compare to. Remember all the imortal words

Again I figured I'd give some support to anyone who is contemplating quiting.

For your sake Don't! I have been on Conceptart and Devientart and I can say you will not find a comunity who will help you and who will worm their way into your hearts, Not like this group of parasites anyway. lol. I can clearly say that this group here will always pick you up when you need it most. Ever since I fully partisipated in this group I feel that I can compete some day with the big pros. Advice and crit here is more sensitve and non condicending than anywhere else. 

If I get called mushy for this post I sware that heads will role but I belive in thanking those who help you on your grand journey. I maybe but a humble noob for now but I am growing fast and it is thanks to the guy's and gals here (well and a select few Very harsh critics on CA) Seriously I am honoured to call the freaks on this site my friends. O come on you cant expect a compliment with out afew insults.

I would like to offer a few kind words to those who need them the most.

Just think about how lucky you are, sitting in front of a computer. Only very few people in the world can afford a computer. So you are among the 1%, you are already ahead in many ways in terms of creating digital art. If you quit, you throw away the gift that the world has offered you, and that is a real shame. It's like having wings but choose not to fly, which makes you a chicken. You don't want to be a chicken bawk bawk bawk bawk!

But Chickens can fly. The only reason they don't is not because they choose not to, but because the people that keep them clip the feathers so they can't. If they could, they would.

I think many  are frightened of the computer. or they are unwilling to learn new things. (haha, maybe they need an upgrade).I'm really proud of my fellow IFX'ers commitment to improving.

 Cant believe we've made it last nearly 1/3 year (365/3=about122 sketches each. Hope the forum can cope)

Going unnoticed on these forums is something you get accustomed to almost immediately. I haven't been participating at IFX for very long, but generally the group here offers a lot of valuable advice and appreciation.

All of us could easily find advice on how to improve our art at virtually any art site but sometimes it's the words of strangers that sink in and force us in a good way to reevaluate our approach and feel positive about what we have and where we want to go.

Cue the contemplative music at the end of House M.D. right now as you imagine various artists mulling over their methods. A favorite would be John Mayer's "Gravity".

Most of the artists here are supportive without sugar coating the advice, something I applaud.  

We're all busy and deal with hectic lives so I hear what you're saying when sometimes all it takes is just a kind reply or a few supportive words to provide a bit of an uplift.

Nice portfolio man, keep it up!
