Welcome to challenge 87 of the weekly variety. Your mission is to paint, illustrate, depict in some way, the title "Bad day at the office" in any way you see fit.

As usual, this is open to anyone (or any thing, we aren't thingist around here). Entries must be posted in this thread by Midnight Thursday 4th September (UK time) - an extra 5 minutes is given after this to allow for time differences, but entry closes immediately after. NOTE: moderators reserve the right to disqualify any votes they deem suspicious and any attempts at vote sabotage/cheating will not be tollerated.

1. Space Penguin -- I really dig the colors.  Having no skeleton indeed looks better...and more open to interpretation.

2. nicosstaff -- Those are really bold colors there!  I like the attention to detail in the background.  Best way to approach it is to explain as little as possible and see what people think is going on.  One might be surprised.

3. solomon -- Obviously the boss is making him stay after hours.  I know the feeling.

Well Obviously D-art wins this one.

I have to say though, she looks more turned on by the little monsters than really surprised.
But the character is so compelling that I can't really complain.
I would have liked to have seen Kazky's Final, but apparently time ran out.

Things just are, then they ain't.

1st - Solomon - that is a true 'bad day at the office' loved it from the start

2nd - spacepenguin - this reminds me of something but i can't think what, but it's kinda poignant.

Joint 3rd (cos i can) - d-art - i think technically i liked this best, but i wanted to see the first one finished.

                             - nicoss - it was just funny!

solomon - i wish i'd realised the time was fleeting, i'd just finished fightclub & another day i could've finished it, but as usual banj stole a day, but thanks for the comment, i might still work it up.

d-art- 2 Points Liking the colours on this one, particularly the purple/green demons. Reminds me of those sweets, Nerds/Geeks/Dweebs for some reason
