random wierdness from the life of a comic book colorist

Rest in peace.

I've been so exceedingly busy this past week with work that I haven't had the time to make my usual rounds in the digital art community. So today as I wrap up colors on a book and take a short break to catch up, I find some truly heartbreaking news.

Glen Angus was an outstanding artist, and I found his work very inspirational and uplifting. Therefore it was truly sad today, to find out that he passed on a week ago. I'm sure that his family are all beside themselves with grief, and condolences really don't seem like a very adequate thing to give to people that have lost a husband or a father, and yet when tragedies like this occur, there really isn't anything else that we can offer but our wishes for strength to get through such a rough period and our prayers. At 37 years old...it really casts into stark relief the short time which we all have here.

You can find out more about Glen, his work, and how to best help his family, by visiting the Ravensoft website
