getting ready to head to LA today for the Wizard World convention this weekend. Scrambling around, doing lots of last minute things today, need to get my playlists put together for my ipod, pack up sketchbook, reading material, oh and I guess clothes and stuff too, not to mention organize my portfolio, get all checked in online so I don't have to wait this afternoon at the airport. I will NOT be sad to leave behind the 1-2 inches of snow on the ground, (forget that it was 70 like 2 days ago) maybe not a FULL report when I get back, but hopefully some pictures and a few words before I have to try and get caught up with stuff in the studio. OH, the Hero By Night books came yesterday via FedEx, and I think they look GREAT. I'm a picky guy, so I still see everything that's WRONG with them of course, but overall it's a NICE package, and I'm very proud of them. Best comic I've ever done I think (up to this point) Also, if you ARE making it out to show this weekend, free giveaways in the form of mini-posters etc...from another project of mine called National Triumphant League, as well as some cool Hero By Night swag I'm sure. and as an aside, if you haven't heard her yet.......Natalie Walker has just released an UNBELIEVABLE first CD, and it's stunningly perfect (thanks to my friend Jill)
