So, here's the deal. I always do what I can to support other artists when they have issues, even when my own money is tight. Now I'm praying that Karma works out for me in the same way, despite the fact my own 'fanbase' is much smaller.

So first of all, IM AN ARTIST! I make artwork, the idea being for money. But in all honesty pretty much everything in my gallery's has been done for free. I'm going to be very greatful if people actually look at my commission information on my front page and actually make use of it.

For the sake of keeping folk where I need them in this journal,

Now, here's the part I REALLY hate. The pan handling. I hate the idea of waving a tin around for donations, especially as I actually prefer to EARN what I get. But if you have a few spare bits of change, my Paypal is at Wormwood_thorn@hotmail.com.

Also, I do have a few print collections already available to buy online. My collected portfolio http://www.lulu.com/content/1289346 My short comic Morbido http://www.lulu.com/content/1284058 and my Fanatic obsession prints. All of these are SERIOUSLY cheap priced. So come on.

New Podcast

Hey gang, just to let you know the Podcast issue has finally resolved

In all honesty, its been a year, and for that I apologise, but at long last the website is now up to date and back on track with new content, and finally a much more fluid editability. In short, Its no longer stuck as it has been since August. The main change is that the shop itself is now right there for you to enjoy, with some new products. What I'm really looking forward to though is the removal of a load of stuff which is frankly not that worthwhile. So, look through the site, and please give me some feedback on what works, what doesn't and what should stay and what should go. Things will finally improve folks. Its official!

http://dennisillustration.co.uk

Oh, while I think on, Im surprised that there is hardly any activity in the Blogs department of this site, especially when you consider the insane number of galleries which appear. Cant anyone be bothered giving insight into their creative process? Or is this just another place to dump work? I think the Blogs can serve as a good bridge in that they can put the artwork in our galleries into a context which would not be there otherwise. Hey, its here for use, so why not use it?

The never changing power of Last minute Panic

So, Im in my last year of University, and all of a sudden NOW I start trawling through all these gallery sites which I set up at the start of my course, desperate to get my work noticed enough by people who just may be able to offer me at the very least some ideas/possible direction. But hey, you would be amazed at how Last Minute blind panic can focus you. I personally hate it when I have 3 months or more on projects. I seriously feel the need to fill that time with the Greatest work ever, otherwise I feel like a lazy little swine. Thing is though, Im more than capable of admitting I have time management issues. At least they arnt as bad as they could be.

Still, long story short is, I finally have a drive to do more work, to get it posted and more importantly, to get feedback so I can improve.
